In memory of Cole AKA Dozer

In memory of Cole AKA Dozer

Cole, who fondly became known as “Dozer” was a stray I adopted from the City of Cleveland (Ohio) kennel in 2013. He was only supposed to be a foster dog, but after a short time ended up being a foster fail! In 2016, we ventured West towards California with his then sister Maiden (a Woods rescue), where he would enjoy daily walks, ocean views and countless road trips throughout California and beyond. He grew to tolerate (and maybe even love) his 2 rescue sisters, Sadie & Peaches. We would often catch the three of them snuggled up in the same dog bed despite having several to choose from. He was our handsome, increasingly stubborn old man, who loved tennis balls, finding (and eating) rotten apples (gross) on our walks, and giving side-eye. This year, knowing he was getting old and not wanting to kennel him, we took him on 2 road trips to Las Vegas and spoiled him with extra love and attention. He unexpectedly left us way too soon on July 31, 2025. Our hearts still hurt and his absence is felt in our home every day. We would love to honor his memory by raising money for Woods to help other dogs find their forever homes (and hopefully getting a spot in the calendar)!

Thank you for your support! 🩷
