Princess Canela

Just like a classic Disney story, Princess Canela had a difficult beginning. Born into a hoarders situation, her life hung in the balance until the hero of her story, Woods Humane Society, swooped in and rescued her! She spent time recovering with the caring staff before being named Hayride, appropriate since she is a joy to spend the afternoon with, and getting the chance for a forever home.

The minute we stepped into the kitten room we could hear her purr from 10 ft away. It is the kind of purr that heals the soul and reminds us why animals are our best friends. How does her story end, she won the heart of an entire family and spends her days sleeping in the warmth of the sun, eating from a crystal dish, and enjoying the life that every pet deserves. We are eternally blessed to have been chosen! 💛
