The Importance of Being Earnest

Earnest is a special cat that we met at Woods last September. He stole our hearts with his earnest meow and endearing eyes. Since his adoption, Ernie has had quite the health journey and we are fortunate that he is now living his best kitten life. When he was only a couple months old, a polyp was discovered in his ear that caused Horner’s syndrome and other neurological symptoms. In March, he had a successful surgery to remove the polyp and continued to wean off steroids and antibiotics since then. Despite all the medical tests he faced, he always managed to show off his sweet and goofy personality to the vets and anyone who met him. His signature move is flopping over on his back to receive belly rubs. We hope you enjoyed reading a little bit about Ernie because he truly is one of a kind!
