Vote for Penny

Meet Penny, the 10 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback! She is sometimes sweet but mostly sassy, and definitely the boss in our house! When we first got Penny, we read an article that said Rhodesian Ridgebacks weren’t for first time dog owners, but I felt confident that I was dog savvy enough. Boy have we learned a lot in the 10 years that we’ve had the pleasure of living with Penny! She’s opinionated and knows exactly what she wants, which is to be sat right in between whoever is on the couch, god forbid she be on the outside of a cuddle puddle. She also enjoys laying in the sun, bossing her older black lab brother around, and occasionally chasing and pouncing a tennis ball like a cat might. She also really wants to be in a calendar, it’s kind of a life goal of hers.

She is every bit the love bug, and our lives would be much less exciting without her in it!
